In view of the historical usurpation of our ancestral sacred territories, which has been and continues to be contrary to national and international law, which violates the treaties in force signed by the Spanish crown and subsequently by the State of Chile, which have been improperly delivered to extractive companies that are producing desertification, droughts, fires and pollution, which violates the rights of nature and the dignity of people, as well as the progressive and systematic extinction of our culture, the Ancestral Authorities of the Mapuche Nation People, together with the Mapuche Permanent Mission to the UN (MNM-ONU), the Mapuche Human Rights Commission (MHRC) and the Kimche Commission for the Defenders of Wallmapu (CKDDW), we have taken the decision to submit a request for arbitration to the State of Chile before the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, proposing Mr. Baltasar Garzón Real as international arbitrator judge, representing the Mapuche People.
